happy easter everyone! i hope that its as great or greater than expected XD. some people are selbrating it today (cathlic, and many other religions, or people that dont have a specific religion) but i am Orthadocs, i do live in Canada, but i came from Europe 🙂 :D. im so proud, lol just had to say that 😀 lol. my mom told me (No im not an adult, but i dont want to be old too soon) that i can cook for this easter, and she cooks on our ”real” Easter on the 16th this month. so ya, and again happy easter to every one and i hope you enjoy coloring eggs with your kids, siblings, friends, and grand kids, oh and also nieces and nephous. sorry cant type today!!!

and now for the cake pops:
you will need, already pre made cake, or cake leftovers… use your favorite icing (i used creamy fudge) start out my making the cake into fine crumbs, i sugest you use an electric mixer, it will save you a mess, and make things a ton faster. useing the dough tool that looks like it has crosses, thats what you should use. after your finished your crumbs, put a little bit of icing, you dont need much to make the cake stuff sticky! roll into even balls, and put into the fridge to completly cool. i did it until they were quite a bit colder, then using a popsicle stick, of in my case i didnt find any, half a skewer. melt some chocolate, or canddy melting wafers, and dip the end of the popsicle stick into it, with the point that your going to put into the cake pop. stick in the popsicle stick into the cakepop, and dip the whole thing into the chocolate (in my case i used white chocolate for white bunnies, now i didnt do the ears because my friend was over as well, and we were too buys, plus i was cooking from 9:30 in the mornin) let all the extra chocolate drip off, and place onto a piece of parchment paper thats on a plate, fill the plate and put into the freezer until completly cooled (now this is what i did for my last few, while i was letting the melted chocolate drip, i added candy for the face, i sugest you do the same to save you some time) then take out add ears, or a face, or put frosting or candy to make in took like an egg, or something like a bunny for easter! and thats it, put the in a pretty cup, or on a stany thing and your done! ready for eating, and they look cute too! some pics of BOTH recipies, if you do decide to do the eggs i sugest you start early!!!!!!!!! cant wait 4 easter 😐 but now its time to get off this, iv tryed to upload this so many times, all to leave because something was done cooking, or because my friend is over… and im so sorry again for any one who was planning this, but thats doughtful! any way, hope this helps with your cooking, and have a happy easter! 😀 =)) 😀 =D
now this recipe take a while but its worth it! the rainbow cake inside the egg shell, i started at 9:30am, till about 1 pm. its the rainbow cake inside a real egg shell.
you will need:
9 large eggs
- 1/2 C flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- a pinch of salt
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1/4 C unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 tsp lemon extract
- 1/4 C sour cream
- 1 1/4 C flour
- 1/2 t baking powder
- 1/4 t baking soda
- 1/4 t salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 C sugar
- 1/2 C unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 1/2 t vanilla extract
- 1/2 C sour cream
- 2 oz bittersweet chocolate
to start you will need about nine eggs (i used nine, but you SHOULD use about 11 or twelve since there is too much batter. start out by pocking a hole on the larger side of the egg, i used a bottle opener,and dump out the insides:
now this might take a while (i started at 9:30 am and ended around 1:15 ish) but its worth while, the taste, and look on people`s faces is gold! to start gather 9 large eggs, says the recipe, but i used nine but had enough batter for about 3 to 4 more eggs so i sugest more than 9 (around 12 ish, probably no more) useing a bottle opener poke a hole in the bigger bottom of the egg:
so my sister and her friend were making rainbow cupcakes (my sis saw me watching the tutorial :D) and so she let me put the batter, and decorate 2 cupcakes, and i thought the ones she and her friend had made were really cute 🙂 so ya. and with those easter nests, i added some melted fudge and put in some candy coated chocolate eggs (and the spots of brown are supposed to be there, their not rotten)

i like to cook thngs from scratch, i mean half the fun comes from gathering the ingrediants, and the eggs u drop on the floor (but then comes cleaning!!! 😦 :|) and here is one of them now i did find this recipe for halloween, but it worked just fine with easter ideas. the only things i did diffferent then the recipe, is that i only ‘fried’ them, because it cooked and hardened just as well, i took the pictures with my tablet and i am typing on a laptop, so i hope you can see the finished product! now before i begin, i went on youtube and online and found some amasing, quick, and tasty Easter recipes!!! one of them is tie-die cake inside a real died egg shell! and another one that will only take a few minutes in a nest with little eggs and birds inside. if you would like more sheck out cupcakeproject.com it is a blog, and i found some really cool recipies, and i really recomend you look on youtube and check out yoyomax12’s chanel. she has very amasing ideas, and u have a video and a link to where she had the recipe from. even if you have seen the cake inside the real egg shell, i am making the eggs easter colors, and the cake rainbow inside. here is a like to yoyomax 12: http://www.youtube.com/user/yoyomax12?ob=0

This fun spiderweb cookie recipe was at Betty Crocker. It’s not difficult, even though the end result looks like it might be.
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- Powdered (icing) sugar for dusting
- Combine all ingredients and beat well. Fill a plastic squeeze bottle with the batter. (I use a ketchup or mustard bottle that has been well cleaned.)
- Heat lightly oiled skillet on medium until hot.
- Squeeze the batter to form4 straight lines that cross in the center. Then connect them together with slightly bowed lines to form the spider web effect.
- Cook until the bottom is golden brown – about 30-60 seconds. Flip carefully and cook the other side is golden. Cool on wire rack.
- Place cookies on a baking tray and place in a 325 degree oven for about 5-7 minutes. Cool on wire rack (they’ll become crisp as they cool).
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
For added effect, melt a little chocolate (chips are fine) in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and repeat until completely melted. Place in a baggie and snip off the corner.
On waxed paper draw small spiders – One little glob in the middle with 4 legs on each side. Allow to set. Using some melted chocolate, ‘glue’ a spider to each cookie. It’s great!
